Where we store your data

How long we retain your data
Any emails you send to us or stored indefinitely. All data entered into our forms(newsletter, contact or application form) are kept for up to 7 years from the last time we were in contact with you. If you have been through our entrepreneur programme any details about you or your business added to our website are stored indefinitely. If you join any of our memberships your details will be removed from our website once you have informed us you have left and will be deleted from our internal systems 7 years after you have left unless you request otherwise.
Basis for processing
We process your data under the legitimate interest basis, in conducting our work offering training and events in furtherance of our charitable objectives – except for sensitive personal data, which we process on the basis of consent. You do not have to supply us with sensitive personal data (for instance about ethnicity or disability status). Since securing funding for our organisation often requires us to report on sensitive personal data, if you do not supply this information we cannot offer you a bursary on our programmes and will instead charge you at the listed price. We will also not be able to admit you on any programmes that have an entry requirement related to sensitive personal information (such as training programmes specifically for entrepreneurs from BAME backgrounds).
